I was elected as a co opted governor in November 2017. I have 2 children, and a step daughter who attended Henry Hinde Juniors before moving onto secondary school. I have responsibility for SEND within the school. I thoroughly enjoy the role, supporting the staff and the children. There is no better satisfaction can listening to the childrens opinions and views about their school life as well as their suggestions for developments within their school life.

Away from the school I am an Operations Director and have over 15 years experience working in the Health and Social Care sector supporting both adults and children with varying levels of need, specialising in Mental Health and Learning disability.

In my spare time, i enjoy spending time with her family, watching my son in his football team and my daughter in her dancing class, as well as walks on our local beach with the dog.

I started my role as AIMs partner at Henry Hinde Junior School in April 2022. I feel passionately about the continuing and ever improving quality of education at HHJS and am delighted to be able to contribute. I am looking forward to supporting the staff on the schools’ journey to becoming a good school, where children thrive. I have responsibility for monitoring Safeguarding and English.

Currently, I am the Deputy Headteacher at Boughton Leigh Junior School and have been a teacher for 16 years. I have extensive knowledge of the Keystage 2 curriculum and have taught mostly Year 5 and 6 throughout my teaching career. I have also worked in a Primary school that also catered for nursery children, with children as young as 3 years old.

I have two children, one of whom currently attends Henry Hinde Infant School and is due to start at the junior school in September 2022. My other child is currently at nursery. I enjoy baking and spending time with my children and family.
